Position Summary
Intern Investments
Position will work in the investments team at CleanCapital
Assist the team in maintaining databases and collect information to improve underwriting and market strategy
Assist team in improving modelling of various contracting structures and policies across the US
Assist team in developing underwriting methodologies for emerging markets
Core Responsibilities
Assisting in data collection, research and modelling related to CleanCapital’s core investment thesis of solar and storage projects across various markets in the US
Involved in financial modelling of development and operating assets and determine core areas of investment
Ad-hoc data collection and data cleanup associated
VBA and excel based modelling to automate and improve project development and origination life cycle
Research retail and wholesale electricity markets across the US and translate key policy and regulations into financial models
Education Requirements
Undergraduate degree + 2 years’ experience or master’s degree in engineering, Finance or other relevant degrees

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion.
Technical understanding of clean energy business processes

Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
